The leadership team of any hospital or military treatment facility may nominate a GSACEP member for this scholarship. The nominee must be a GSACEP member.
The Bernadette Carr Legacy Scholarship recognizes the selflessness service, camaraderie, respect and friendship of GSACEP's longest serving executive director. Her dedication, integrity and loyalty to the chapter exemplify the military values our members strive to attain. During her tenure, Bernie was the champion of the Government Services Symposium (formerly called Joint Services Symposium), working tirelessly behind the scenes to make each conference an unparalleled success for attendees from all perspectives: professional, social, educational and research/academic.
Recipients of the Legacy Scholarship receive complimentary registration to the Government Services
Symposium and an honorarium to include hotel expenses and $500 towards travel.
