Government Services Chapter ACEP (GSACEP) was established in 1977 for emergency physicians who are employees of the federal government as Active-Duty military, reservists, Veterans Health Administration, Public Health Service Corp, Indian Health Service, or physicians working in other federal agencies. The Government Services Symposium (GSS) is the premier meeting for these emergency physicians. GSACEP is the third largest ACEP chapter with more than 2,300 attending, resident, and medical student members.
Your exhibit will be seen by a national audience of physician leaders who participate in purchasing decisions. Attendees at the annual GSS meeting also include high ranking leaders from the Air Force, Army, and Air Force, military and civilian residency training programs, the Army and Navy War Colleges and the Uniformed Services University. Our members work in a variety of settings across the country, and around the globe. We partner with exhibitors who provide medical devices, services and other healthcare related commodities that are interested or part of the military and federal service markets.

GSS24 Opening Reception and Research Forum on the USS Midway

An event so big we needed an aircraft carrier to host it! Be a part of this unique opportunity as the EXCLUSIVE sponsor of GSS24’s Opening Reception aboard the USS Midway Museum. In addition to highlighting our research poster presentations, the opening reception will feature hangar, flight, and below deck docent-led tours, interactive and engaging flight simulators where registrants can live the life of an aviator aboard the USS Midway, and fun and networking as we welcome members from across the country to GSS24 and San Diego.
Our event sponsor will receive recognition throughout the year, including on our website for the entirety of 2024, in pre-conference marketing materials, and with a featured editorial in an issue of GSACEP’s member newsletter, EPIC. At the GSS conference, your company sponsorship will be acknowledged on signage and in the onsite program, and during the reception with a sponsor table at the venue and the opportunity to address the audience during special remarks from the podium with an introduction from the GSACEP president.
Closing Reception and SimWars Competition at the Strategic Operations Command Center

The annual resident SimWars competition is a highlight of the annual conference with friendly competition from six participating residency programs. Our location in San Diego allows us a truly unique opportunity to host this event at the Strategic Operations Command Center, a hyper-realistic military and medical tactical training center with a high degree of fidelity in the replication of battlefield conditions in a training environment in which participants become totally immersed.

As a non-profit organization supporting military and federal service physicians, GSACEP strives to keep our registration costs low while providing critical clinical content, and a well-rounded program for members with limited funding. This includes providing breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks each morning and afternoon. Support our GSS24 registrants by sponsoring a meal (breakfast or lunch) or two (2) coffee/snack breaks during the conference.
